⚙️ Adjusting Preload, Compression, and Rebound

🔸 Preload
Affects how much the suspension compresses under rider weight (sag). Impacts ride height and geometry.

Road use target: 30–35mm sag

Sport/track target: 25–30mm sag

Adjust preload using a spanner wrench (shocks) or top cap adjuster (forks).

🔸 Compression Damping
Controls how fast the suspension compresses over bumps.

More compression: Firmer ride, less travel

Less compression: Softer ride, more comfort

🔸 Rebound Damping
Controls how fast the suspension returns after compressing.

Too slow: Stiff, packs down

Too fast: Bouncy, unstable

Start with factory settings and adjust gradually while tracking changes.
